Paris Hilton back in the slammer

After only a day of liberty and face filling (The media outside Hilton’s home noted delivery of gourmet cakes, flowers and organic dog biscuits after her brief return) Paris Hilton is back in jail.
It seems public pressure forced her return. Within hours of her release, an online petition appeared, demanding her return to jail. Comments flooded in to gossip and serious newspaper sites, most expressing outrage at Hilton’s release.

Paris Hilton ‘crys eyes out’ behind bars

According to the Web site TMZ the heiress has been crying on the phone and is not sleeping or eating. Rumors abound about the cavity search she may or may not have been subjected to upon umm, entry.
On the plus side, a soda (soft drinks) machine was installed in her wing the day before she arrived. So, not all bad….however..
“Inside Edition” reports that the Lynwood jail is rife with staph infection, with over 402 inmate diagnosed last year alone. hmmm, mostly bad then!

PARIS HILTON RELEASED FROM JAIL AFTER ONLY THREE DAYS
The hotel heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles just after 11:30pm local time on Sunday to serve 23 days for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
Hilton, 26, was apparently released on Thursday morning, with one website saying: “Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early this morning.”
She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23.
Her early release means Hilton has only served a total of three days.
