If you’re a regular ebayer then you will have most probably at least thought about retracting your bid at some point. For example, you’re bidding for an ipod mini to replace the one you lost but find it down the back of the sofa/in your jacket pocket/friends handbag - no point in buying another one!
Retracting a bid on ebay can affect your standing and ebay generally frowns upon the practice. This article explains the best way to go about it if you really have to.
