“The wife says she wants it gone. And what Momma wants, Momma gets. Actually she bought me a new car and I really wanted to keep the Beamer as a project car, but I am no mechanic so it has to go. She was fun to drive and fun to own. I drove the fool out of it for the last 50K miles I owned it. It developed a small miss in the engine that a shadetree mechanic couldnt find. Now, after the car has sat for 3 months it will not start.

I will have some more photos soon. (not purdy) The car is stored at a friends business and I could not get in between the cars on either side to take any pics that were worth a darn. Hmmmmmm where should I start. It has a rough outer body. Paint is scratched and clear coat is coming off the hood. Paint is all around dull. A lot of small dents in the body. There is a dent in the front hood that took out the right front turn signal light. The windshield and windows have no cracks. The gauges work and the radio does not. It needs to be taken to a BMW dealership to have the security code reset so it will play. The AC was blowing cold before the blower motor went out. (one of the reasons Momma said I needed a new car…doesn’t she know I still love this piece of crap?) Oh well, The interior is leather and hot as hell in the summer. The back seat and passenger side are in great shape. The driver’s side leather is torn on one side. The carpet is fine, no tears and comes with BMW mats. The glove box cover needs to be glued back on,but the glove box works. The cigarette lighter does not, I am not a smoker,but you cant use it as a cell phone charger either…The headliner needs replacing and the rear speaker holder thingy needs repair. The moonroof will leak if it is raining heavily for about 20 seconds and then it mysteriously seals up and stops leaking…still havent figured that one out.

The drivetrain is fine, just put in a new rubber universal joint. It has new belts, fans, and a couple of new hoses. The battery box has been replaced with a marine battery box, because the acid eats out the metal of the trunk (gee BMW batteries in the trunk? come on)

Like I said it ran with a miss about 3 months ago. I cranked on it real good about a week ago and it would not start. It could be a timing issue to a dead engine. I dont know. So buyer must know this is sold as is. It was a good car for me and I made a lot of sales calls in it. Its fun to drive if you get it going. I will cry thinking you will part it out, but it’s your call. I don’t have the time or the skills to part it out myself. Besides the wife would kill me if I started selling it piece by piece. (she just does not understand)

Bid it as you see fit. I have a $600.00 reserve on it because I can get that much at the salvage yard. I would really like to see someone get it running and enjoy it as much as I did..Thanks for looking.”
